Before I start the poem, this is dedicated to my cat named "Sana" came after a Korean girl group Twice who passed away last August 31,2020 due to a lump on her neck that made her suffer and lose her appetite.Prepare your hanky if you can relate with my words. Enjoy,
Just a simple day with my simple looking pet
Having you beside me is a thing I don't regret
I also brought your toy. How can I forget?
Loved you already, Although we have just met
I touch your face and pinch your cheeks
Because of your cuteness I can do that for weeks
Your smile for me relieves my sick
And your snuggle to me always makes me weak
Years have passed and we get much closer
But my happy days with you are almost over
The veterenary said that you have a throat cancer
I don't know if I feel sad, sorrowed or it's my anger?
How can I see brighter days if you cannot eat well?
As the lump on your neck continuously to swell.
I love you kitty and I will always tell
Until you collapse because of weakness, And also I fell
The nerves started to stop
On my knees I almost drop
Thinking about days that I won't see you hop
It's raining inside me and cannot resist my teardrop
Oh no it's not happening to me
My kitty that I treated like one of my family
Is now dying and hurt so badly
As you close your eyes, You can now leave peacefully
Dear kitty please help me get through
Everytime I'm alone I always see you
It hurts me because my love for you is true
And as I see your smile again, I wished you loved me too
